Well hello!

It’s been a little while since I’ve been on here. I haven’t been firing on all cylinders for a little while now so have had to prioritise and scale back to what I can manage. I’m really good at taking on too much at once and then crashing and burning… Earlier this year, I crashed and burned… So, work and home life were my priorities for a while and I’m slowly starting to add back in the other things I love in manageable chunks. I find when I take on too much at once (all things that I care about and probably a few things that leave me with a severe case of FOMO) that I end up in a tail spin and too anxious to wind myself back. The only cure, to just stop. STOP IT!!

So, in a coaching session on a day when I was feeling particularly anxious and low we came up with a list of things that I need to do in order to feel replenished and to get me back feeling at my best on a daily basis. You can do this too. You’ll see my list below and just because I’m all about sharing the love, I’ve also included the list I came up with in a printable PDF in a dropbox link. These might be things that you can incorporate into your day or you can make up your very own list. I just used a word document and prettied it up a bit, nothing fancy.

What do I need to do today to replenish myself?

Tired and sluggish?

  • Turn on some music and dance in the kitchen
  • Make some herbal tea
  • Get some fresh air
  • Make a juice

Feeling Anxious?

  • Get outside in the fresh air and breathe
  • Meditate
  • Move gently – eg. Yoga
  • Go for a walk
  • Stay off social media
  • Do something creative with pencils and paper
  • Journal
  • Burn some oils
  • Make some herbal tea
  • Turn on some music and dance in the kitchen

Just woke up?

  • Drink some hot water
  • Open the blinds
  • Get some fresh air
